Abuja:President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Senator Abdulaziz Yari, who represents Zamfara West, on the occasion of his 58th birthday, highlighting his contributions as a grassroots mobilizer.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Tinubu commended Yari, the Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, for his loyalty and organizational skills, which have significantly benefited both the party and Nigeria. The statement was issued by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.
Yari, who served as Zamfara’s Governor from 2011 to 2019, also chaired the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, where he was noted for his leadership and efforts in fostering unity among governors.
Furthermore, Tinubu recognized Yari’s leadership in promoting the administration’s Renewed Hope achievements and reforms in anticipation of the 2027 general elections. He praised Yari’s dedication, resilience, and steadfast commitment to the progressive ideals of the APC.
