Post: Senior Advocate Urges Nigerians to Support Leaders Amid Challenges

Abuja:A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr. Ahmed Raji, has encouraged citizens to maintain hope and support the government for national stability and progress. This call comes as Nigeria reflects on its journey during the 66th Independence Anniversary.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Raji shared these sentiments in an interview, acknowledging that 66 years is a relatively short period in the life of a nation and that Nigeria has faced numerous challenges. He advised Nigerians to encourage leaders to act in the country’s best interest and not to let them stray too far before being held accountable.

Raji expressed confidence in the resilience of Nigerians, believing that with good leadership, the country can overcome its challenges. He emphasized that leaders in political, religious, and civil service sectors should demonstrate greater empathy and prioritize the welfare of the people, given the high levels of poverty.

He also conveyed his well wishes for all Nigerians and prayed for divine intervention to address the nation’s issues. The News Agency of Nigeria notes that Nigeria gained independence on October 1, 1960, and the anniversary serves as a time for reflection on the nation’s progress and development.
