Abuja:The Renewed Hope Youth Development Empowerment Initiative (RHYDEI) has launched a national structure with a five-point agenda to mobilize youth support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the announcement was made by RHYDEI’s National President and Coordinator, Prince Abayomi Odeniran, during the organisation’s national inauguration, swearing-in, awards, and fundraising ceremony held in Abuja. Themed ‘Consolidating Renewed Hope: Youths Standing for Tinubu 2027,’ the event outlined plans to establish a youth mobilisation network across all 774 local government areas.
RHYDEI aims to create a ’20 Million Youth Votes Project’ to galvanize young Nigerians nationwide in support of Tinubu. Additionally, the initiative plans to appoint 10,000 youth ambassadors across various states to promote the administration’s policies and accomplishments.
The organisation also intends to collaborate with Federal Government agencies to offer skills acquisition programs, grants, and loans to at least one million youths before the elections. Furthermore, RHYDEI will conduct campaigns titled ‘Protection of Our Father’s Mandate’ and ‘Operation Show Love to Daddy’ to express youth support for the president and highlight his administration’s achievements.
Odeniran encouraged members to spread the initiative’s message in local communities, markets, and on social media. He also praised the patrons, state coordinators, zonal leaders, and other members for their contributions and urged Nigerian youths to engage in programs that enhance their skills and economic prospects.
The ceremony included the swearing-in of RHYDEI officials and coordinators, the presentation of awards, and a fundraising segment.
