Abuja:The Chairman of the Forum of National Youth Leaders of all Political Parties in Nigeria, Comrade Eze-Onyebuchi Chukwu, has called on young Nigerians to transcend political differences in order to foster a peaceful, prosperous, and united nation.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Chukwu emphasized the importance of youth involvement in national affairs, urging that political disagreements should not lead to national divisions. He pointed out that young people can belong to different political parties, hold diverse policy views, and engage in political competition while still collaborating for the national good.
Chukwu noted that Nigeria does not lack ideas but often struggles with implementing them effectively. He encouraged young Nigerians to focus on practical solutions to national challenges such as economic opportunities, skill development, political participation, and unity.
He advocated for increased youth participation in political decision-making beyond merely supporting political campaigns. Moreover, Chukwu called for systems to ensure the implementation and monitoring of policies concerning young people.
The youth leader urged young Nigerians to articulate their vision for the country and identify actionable steps to achieve it, emphasizing the need for responsibility and preparedness to contribute to national development. He advised young people to not only demand opportunities but also ready themselves for the responsibilities those opportunities entail.
