Abuja: A political pressure group known as the Jagaban Apex Alliance (JAA) has called upon the Hope Uzodinma-led Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) and the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, to collaborate for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027. According to News Agency of Nigeria, the PGF has recently expressed opposition to Wike’s Rainbow Coalition political initiative, cautioning that it could potentially undermine the All Progressives Congress (APC) unity.
The Director-General of JAA, Harry Ajentekebia, emphasized the necessity of re-electing President Tinubu during an interaction with NAN in Abuja. He stressed the importance of resolving any differences between the APC governors and Wike to foster cooperation for Tinubu’s campaign. Ajentekebia highlighted the need for peace, understanding, and genuine collaboration between the parties.
Ajentekebia warned that public disagreements could strengthen their political rivals and jeopardize the re-election efforts if not addressed. He urged the APC leadership and President Tinubu to take decisive action in managing these political challenges. The JAA leader appealed to APC state governors and party leaders across Nigeria to maintain unity and support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Ajentekebia asserted that JAA remains the sole grassroots force dedicated to securing President Tinubu’s victory, and he encouraged its members to continue working towards the success of all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
