Cape Town: Heirs Energies has announced its participation as a Bronze Partner in the upcoming African Energy Week (AEW) 2025, set to take place in Cape Town from September 29 to October 3. This partnership is part of the company’s strategic efforts to expand its oil production capabilities and broaden its presence across the African continent.
According to African Press Organization, Heirs Energies, which operates the OML 17 oilfield in Nigeria, has already increased its production from 25,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 50,000 bpd since acquiring the asset from Shell in 2021. The company is now aiming to reach a production target of 110,000 bpd by 2030. This ambitious goal is expected to be achieved through additional drilling activities, well reactivations, and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
Heirs Energies is also exploring opportunities beyond Nigeria, utilizing its operational expertise to drive new projects across Africa. The company is committed to combining efficient operations with innovative production techniques to improve productivity, support community development, and promote sustainable energy solutions.
During AEW 2025: Invest in African Energies, Heirs Energies plans to engage with investors, policymakers, and industry leaders. The company will present its growth strategy, discuss potential opportunities in Nigeria and other African markets, and emphasize its dedication to sustainable, community-driven energy development through its partnership in the event.
