Abuja:Princess Hauwa Tanimu-Aduda has committed to supporting the Business Women of Influence-Renewed Hope Agenda (BWI-RHA) in their efforts to empower women and create job opportunities.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, this commitment came during a courtesy visit by a delegation from BWI-RHA, led by its Director of Media and Publicity, Evelyn Onyilo, in Abuja. During the visit, Aduda and her husband, Sen. Tanimu Aduda, were formally installed as the FCT Matron and Patron of the organization.
The appointments were said to recognize the Aduda family’s dedication to leadership, service, and community development. Aduda assured the BWI-RHA delegation of her support for their programs, particularly those focused on women’s empowerment and economic opportunities. She expressed gratitude for the visit and pledged to convey the group’s messages of solidarity to her husband.
Onyilo thanked the couple for their warm reception and for aligning with the organization’s vision. Ziyak Yakubu, the FCT Coordinator, also expressed appreciation, highlighting the group’s anticipation of a fruitful relationship with the Aduda family. Yakubu emphasized the organization’s eagerness to benefit from the guidance and experience of its new Matron and Patron as it advances women’s empowerment, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
The visit also allowed BWI-RHA to present its vision and reaffirm its commitment to enhancing women’s roles in leadership, entrepreneurship, and nation-building.
