Post: Prof. Etukudoh Praises Tinubu’s Leadership and Reform Agenda


Jos:Prof. Sunday Etukudoh has commended President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, describing it as courageous, visionary, and reform-driven, which he believes will secure Tinubu’s place in Nigeria’s history.



According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Etukudoh, the former Provost of the Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology, Jos, delivered a goodwill message during Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary. He congratulated Tinubu and Nigerians, highlighting the occasion as a celebration of the nation’s resilience and enduring spirit.



Etukudoh noted that despite the challenges faced since gaining independence, Nigeria’s strength and determination have remained evident. He emphasized that Tinubu took leadership at a pivotal time, opting for a challenging path of reform with his Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to steer Nigeria toward economic recovery, inclusive prosperity, and sustainable development.



The professor acknowledged that these reforms are challenging yet necessary and encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful about the country’s future. He urged leaders to prioritize citizen welfare while fostering peace, justice, prosperity, and unity.



Etukudoh also highlighted the importance of recognizing Nigeria’s diversity as a driving force for national development. He expressed support for loyal and principled citizens backing the President’s vision for national rebirth.



He praised Senate President Godswill Akpabio for his stabilizing legislative leadership, which complements the administration’s developmental efforts. Etukudoh also commended Akwa Ibom Governor Umo Eno and Deputy Governor Akon Eyakenyi for their contributions to state governance and development.



Furthermore, he acknowledged Education Minister Dr. Morufu Alausa for his support of specialized tertiary education and the establishment of the Federal University of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology, Jos. He also appreciated the efforts of Health Ministers Prof. Muhammad Pate and Dr. Iziaq Salako, as well as Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperikpe Ekpo, and former Health Minister Prof. Isaac Adewole for their services.



Etukudoh expressed gratitude from the medical laboratory science and health communities for what he termed purposeful leadership supporting progress in education and healthcare. He concluded by wishing Tinubu, Akpabio, and other leaders a happy Independence Anniversary, praying for unity, peace, and prosperity in Nigeria.
