Lagos: Mr. Daniel Ray, General Manager of TCL West Africa, announced that the company is exploring the establishment of local assembly operations in partnership with SIMS Nigeria. This initiative aims to create job opportunities and enhance local involvement in TCL’s value chain. Ray made this announcement during the unveiling of the company’s 2026 range of AI-powered home appliances tailored for the Nigerian market.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the local assembly plan is part of TCL’s broader strategy to strengthen its foothold in Nigeria, which is considered one of its key markets in the Middle East and Africa region. Ray emphasized that the 2026 product range is designed to meet evolving consumer needs by incorporating artificial intelligence, energy efficiency, and smart connectivity across various product categories.
