Abuja: President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to Vice-President Kashim Shettima on the occasion of his 60th birthday, acknowledging him as a trusted ally, patriot, and an indispensable partner in governance.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the President expressed his felicitation through a personal statement released on Tuesday in Abuja, highlighting Shettima’s dedication to service, his commitment to the nation, and his sacrifices for Nigeria. Tinubu remarked, “Today, I warmly congratulate Vice-President Kashim Shettima, my brother and partner in steering the ship of our state, on his 60th birthday on September 2.”
Tinubu also extended his well-wishes to Shettima’s wife, Nana, alongside his children, family members, and political associates, viewing the Vice-President’s birthday as an opportunity to acknowledge his significant contributions to national development. He emphasized Shettima’s role as a patriot whose life has been defined by service and commitment to worthy causes.
The President praised Shettima’s notable banking career and his record of service as both the governor of Borno State and Vice-President of Nigeria, describing his public career as distinguished.
