Abuja: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Original Result Slip will be available for printing within two hours on Wednesday. This development marks an important step for candidates awaiting their official results.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Dr Fabian Benjamin, stated that the Original Result Slip will contain candidates’ photographs, national rankings, and other security features. These elements are designed to enhance the document’s authenticity and ensure its acceptance for official purposes.
The Original Result Slip is considered one of the official requirements for post-UTME screening and admission consideration by tertiary institutions. Dr Benjamin emphasized the importance of this document in the admission process.
Candidates have been advised to print the slip from any internet-enabled device or accredited business centre. The spokesman also urged all candidates to verify the details on the slip immediately after printing and keep a copy for future admission-related purposes.
