Post: ADC Clears Atiku, Amaechi, Hayatu-Deen for Presidential Primaries


Abuja: The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially cleared former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen to participate in its upcoming presidential primary election. This development was announced in a statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the statement also revealed that 513 aspirants have been cleared to contest in the House of Representatives primary elections across the nation. Furthermore, 109 aspirants have been approved for the Senate primaries, with an additional 80 governorship aspirants successfully screened and cleared.

The ADC has scheduled its presidential primary election for Monday, May 25. This scheduling aligns with the timetable that has been approved by the party’s leadership, marking a significant step in the electoral process for the party.
