Sokoto: The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Sokoto state chapter, has inaugurated 23 local government coordinators to commence membership revalidation across the state. Inaugurating the coordinators in Sokoto, the State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bello Keegan, stated that the party registration was a significant step in the effort to strengthen the party tentacles.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the exercise aims to reshape the party’s structure and expand its grassroots base in preparation for the upcoming general elections. Keegan highlighted that the party conducted a statewide stakeholders meeting and engaged with party chieftains ahead of a planned mass rally to demonstrate the party’s strength.
National Financial Secretary, Alhaji Akibu Dalhatu, also addressed the gathering, noting that the revalidation exercise will occur in all 244 political wards of the state. Dalhatu explained that the exercise will run concurrently with both e-registration and physical registration processes.

emphasized the introduction of e-registration to facilitate easier access for individuals interested in joining the party. He expressed confidence in the ADC’s readiness to challenge the All Progressive Congress (APC) administration, citing growing public demand for an alternative platform. He described the ADC as the ideal platform to replace the ruling APC, which he criticized for its economic policies.
Dalhatu urged youth, women, and all Nigerians to support the ADC for the desired change.
