Post: Adefiranye Appeals for Calm, Urges APC Members to Respect Party Supremacy

Abuja: The APC candidate for Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency, Mr. Festus Adefiranye, has appealed to aggrieved members to remain calm and respect party supremacy. Adefiranye made the appeal during a victory walk organized by party faithful across the federal constituency.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Adefiranye, an Okeigbo indigene and serving lawmaker, is seeking re-election to the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections. The lawmaker urged APC members to remain united, close ranks, and work collectively toward securing victory for the party in 2027. He emphasized the importance of unity as the party prepares for the upcoming general elections.

Adefiranye described his relationship with fellow aspirants and party leaders as cordial, stressing that APC remained one united family despite differing political interests. He noted that the National Working Committee (NWC) had concluded the nomination process and produced credible candidates, urging members to ignore actions that could create unnecessary divisions within the party.

He implored members to accept the party’s decisions, unite behind all candidates, and intensify mobilization efforts to ensure victory for President Bola Tinubu and the APC. Adefiranye expressed gratitude to Tinubu, the APC National Working Committee, and Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for ensuring a credible and transparent nomination process.

In addition, Mr. Olatunji Ifabiyi, the Ondo House of Assembly member representing Odigbo Constituency I, urged party members to remain united ahead of campaigns for electoral success. Ifabiyi thanked the president and the APC leadership for successfully concluding the nomination exercise and encouraged supporters to sustain grassroots mobilization before the elections.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Yetunde Adeyanju, a former Ondo Commissioner, described Adefiranye’s emergence as a confirmation of his constituents’ confidence in his leadership, performance, and commitment to quality representation. Adeyanju urged Adefiranye to sustain effective representation, people-oriented programs, and regular constituency engagement, assuring him of continued support from the people of the federal constituency.

The party stakeholders reaffirmed Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s leadership of APC in Ondo State, expressing confidence that the party would remain united ahead of the 2027 general elections.
