Post: AEDC Launches New Apps to Enhance Digital Services


Abuja:The Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC) has introduced the MyPower Mobile and Web Apps to broaden its digital service offerings. These new platforms aim to provide customers with improved access to a variety of electricity services via mobile devices or web browsers.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, AEDC’s Managing Director and CEO, Chijioke Okwuokenye, stated that the launch is part of the company’s Customer Service Week activities. It underscores AEDC’s commitment to enhancing customer experience by integrating technology into its services, making them more accessible and user-friendly.



The apps offer customers the ability to purchase electricity tokens, pay bills, report power outages, track complaints, and manage their electricity services conveniently. Additionally, customers can view energy consumption, access bills and payment receipts, manage multiple accounts, and update personal information digitally. A staff verification feature is also included to confirm the identity of AEDC personnel during customer interactions, enhancing security.



Blessing Ogbe, AEDC’s Chief Operating Officer, highlighted that the apps represent the company’s dedication to continually improving the customer experience. Ogbe emphasized that customer feedback plays a vital role in shaping service delivery, and the apps are a testament to AEDC’s commitment to innovation and adaptability to meet customer expectations. As AEDC progresses on its digital journey, these apps are expected to evolve with additional capabilities to further benefit customers.
