Post: AMAC Chair Appoints Kingsley Madaki as Chief Press Secretary


Abuja: Mr Christopher Maikalangu, Executive Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), has appointed Mr Kingsley Madaki as his new Chief Press Secretary (CPS). Maikalangu announced the appointment in an official letter obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, stating that Madaki’s appointment takes immediate effect.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, Maikalangu urged the new CPS to leverage his experience to contribute to the progress and development of the area council. The chairman expressed hope that Madaki would demonstrate responsibility, maturity, loyalty, competence, commitment, and dedication in his new role. While congratulating Madaki on his appointment, Maikalangu extended his highest regards to him.



NAN reports that before this new appointment, Madaki served as the Senior Special Assistant to the chairman on Media and Public Affairs. In addition to Madaki’s appointment, other key appointments were announced by the council chief. Mr Emmanuel Inyang was named Taskforce Chairman, with Mr Bako Kamdu as Deputy Taskforce Chairman. Mr Isyaku Hassan was appointed as Deputy Clerk, and Mr Ikibah Sebastian will serve as Legislative Liaison Officer.



Maikalangu also announced further appointments on Tuesday, including Mr Emeka Orji as Chief of Staff and Mr David Danjuma as Principal Private Secretary.
