Post: Anambra At 33: Governor Soludo Pledges Commitment To Citizens Wellbeing


Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has extended his warm congratulations to the people of Anambra on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the creation of the state, pledged absolute commitment to citizens wellbeing and security.

The felicitations were issued during a statewide broadcast from the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia, as he commemorated this important day.

Governor Soludo emphasised that the creation of Anambra State was born out of a collective aspiration that resonates with the mission and vision of his administration.

He proudly stated that Anambra was undeniably on the path to greater heights, solidifying its position as the sixth largest economy in Nigeria, while also boasting the lowest poverty indicators in the nation.

Highlighting the remarkable progress made, Governor Soludo revealed that approximately 75% of the state is urbanized, a testament to its rapid development.

He specifically commended the achievements in the education sector, wherein Anambra ranks among the t
op performers in the country with its robust free education program and hosting the lowest number of out-of-school children.

Furthermore, the Governor highlighted the ongoing reforms in the health sector and the continuous investment in infrastructure that have contributed to the prosperity and well-being of the people of Anambra State.

Governor Soludo took this auspicious occasion to honor the pioneers who laid the foundation for a land of prosperity, as well as express optimism for the bright future of Anambra State.

Despite the challenges faced, the Governor assured the people that his administration remained committed to working tirelessly to further elevate the state and its people to new heights.
