Post: Chelle Urges Flying Eagles to Stay Focused Ahead of WAFU U20 Tournament


Abuja: The Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has advised players of Nigeria’s U20 national team, the Flying Eagles, to remain focused and disciplined as they prepare for the forthcoming WAFU B U20 Tournament. Chelle gave the advice during a visit to the team’s training session on Friday evening at the main bowl of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, the Super Eagles coach urged the players to pay attention to instructions from their coaches and remain committed to achieving their goals. Chelle emphasized the importance of focus and attentiveness to coaching as key elements for success. He stated, “If you want to succeed and go far in achieving your dreams, you have to be focused and listen attentively to your coaches. If you do these, your chances of succeeding will be very high.”



In response, Flying Eagles Head Coach Abdul Maikaba expressed his appreciation for Chelle’s visit and encouragement. Maikaba assured that the team remained committed to giving its best at the WAFU B U20 Tournament. The Flying Eagles had earlier demonstrated their readiness by defeating Bussdor United FC 5-0 in a friendly match as part of preparations for the regional competition.



The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the WAFU B U20 Tournament is scheduled to hold in July in C´te d’Ivoire.
