Post: China Announces Emergency Humanitarian Aid for Middle East Countries

Beijing: The China Government has announced plans to provide emergency humanitarian assistance to Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq amid worsening humanitarian conditions linked to ongoing regional conflict. Speaking at a regular press briefing on Tuesday, foreign ministry spokesperson, Lin Jian said the decision reflected China’s concern over the growing humanitarian crisis affecting civilians across the region.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the ongoing conflict has inflicted severe humanitarian suffering on people in Iran and other countries in the region. Lin Jian emphasized that China deeply sympathizes with those affected, highlighting the urgent need for humanitarian relief.

Lin added that China remains committed to supporting efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability, including promoting a ceasefire and preventing further deterioration of humanitarian conditions. The announcement underscores China’s role in international humanitarian efforts and its commitment to aiding those affected by conflict in the Middle East.
