Abuja: Rev. Charles Ehanire has urged Christians to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the incredible gift bestowed upon them through Christ, recognising His love as a treasure far beyond superficial human comprehension. Ehanire, General Overseer and Founder of God’s Love Divine Favor Ministry Worldwide, made the call in his Easter message on Monday in Abuja.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the U.S.-based pastor emphasized that the profound sacrifices made by Jesus Christ on behalf of humanity extended far beyond the limited understanding people often held, especially as Christians reflected during the Easter season. He highlighted that by reflecting upon Christ’s life, crucifixion, and resurrection, believers could begin to uncover the depth and magnitude of what He truly endured for all humanity across generations.
Ehanire stressed the importance of recognising that Christ’s selfless acts were not merely historical events but powerful demonstrations of love, mercy, and redemption that con
tinue to resonate through time for all people. He noted that Jesus exemplified unparalleled compassion in His mission, willingly facing immense suffering for the sake of salvation, and embracing His purpose with unwavering resolve despite profound trials during His journey on earth.
The cleric further remarked that the implications of Christ’s sacrifice reached into every aspect of Christian life, inviting all to experience grace and forgiveness in ways they might not fully grasp. He urged believers to contemplate the significance of Christ’s actions, realising that the depth of His love is a treasure far richer than a superficial view might suggest.
