Post: Fadlallah Says Hezbollah Will Not Accept Concessions in Ceasefire Talks

Beirut: MP Hassan Fadlallah on Thursday said Israel continues to violate the ceasefire and accused it of attempting to evade commitments under the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding. Speaking at a Hezbollah Ashura gathering, he claimed the agreement links progress in broader negotiations to a halt in hostilities in Lebanon and an eventual full Israeli withdrawal.

According to National news agency – Lebanon, Fadlallah said Hezbollah would not accept any concessions in the ongoing negotiations and insisted that no arrangement affecting Lebanon would be implemented without the group’s approval. He also praised Iran’s support, describing the U.S.-Iran understanding as a strategic achievement that strengthens Lebanon’s position.
