Abuja: Mr Abayomi Hunye, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ogun, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s infrastructural drive and economic reforms. Hunye spoke on Thursday at the Ake Palace, Abeokuta, during a rally organised by the Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) in support of Tinubu’s administration. He urged Nigerians to support Tinubu’s re-election, citing what he described as the president’s impressive performance during his first term in office.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Hunye highlighted that Tinubu’s administration has recorded significant achievements in infrastructure and economic development since assuming office. “The president has been able to take Nigeria out of where it used to be with many visible achievements recorded during his first term,” he said. Hunye also described Tinubu as a replica of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, particularly in the area of educational development.
Hunye expressed optimism that Ogun would experience greater development if residents supported the APC and its candidates in the 2027 general elections. He encouraged voting for all APC candidates to continue experiencing development and democratic dividends. “If Tinubu returns for the second term, we’ll all enjoy his government. Let us re-elect Tinubu for the betterment of the future of our Nation,” he added.
In his remarks, Olaposi Oginni, Chairman of CRPP in Ogun, pledged the coalition’s support for Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 general elections. He expressed appreciation for the President’s efforts toward revamping the country’s economy and improving infrastructure. Oginni urged Nigerians to back the administration’s economic reforms, noting that the ongoing recovery is a reality.
