Abuja: A political group, The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in Kogi West Senatorial District, has pledged grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election. The group made the pledge in a statement by its Secretary, Abidemi Adebola, following a meeting attended by party leaders, political office holders, elders, youth, and women representatives.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the Kogi West TSG stakeholders commended the leadership of the President and subsequently passed a vote of confidence on him and his administration. They described Tinubu as a reformer whose Renewed Hope Agenda was repositioning Nigeria for sustainable economic growth, national stability, and global competitiveness.
The group praised Tinubu’s economic reforms, infrastructural initiatives, and commitment to strengthening democratic institutions. Despite global economic challenges, the stakeholders noted that Tinubu had shown resilience, political will, and patriotism in guiding the nation toward recovery and long-term prosperity.
The Tinubu-led administration is focused on economic revitalisation, fiscal discipline, infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and job creation initiatives. Efforts are also underway to strengthen national security, promote unity, and ensure inclusive governance.
The group emphasized that the President’s leadership style reflects experience and strategic foresight, with a deep understanding of governance. They believe that as a statesman, President Tinubu’s legacy will endure.
