Post: NAF Graduates 111 Personnel from Special Forces Course

Abuja: The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully graduated 111 personnel from Special Forces Course 13/2026. The announcement was made by the Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF headquarters, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, who emphasized that this development is expected to significantly enhance the NAF’s capacity to support ongoing air and joint military operations across the country.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the graduation ceremony took place at the Regiment Training Centre Annex (RTCA) in Bauchi, marking the end of an intensive and demanding training program. This program was meticulously designed to produce highly skilled, combat-ready, and mission-oriented operators who are prepared to respond to Nigeria’s evolving security challenges. The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, represented by the Chief of Training at the Headquarters, Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Dari, congratulated the personnel on completing one of the NAF’s most rigorous training courses.

Aneke urged the newly graduated personnel to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and courage in their duties. He highlighted that the strength of any fighting force depends not only on its equipment but also on the quality, discipline, and determination of its personnel. “You are now part of an elite cadre entrusted with critical responsibilities in safeguarding our nation. Serve with honour, remain mission-focused, and let your actions reflect the values of the Nigerian Air Force,” he stated.

The comprehensive training program equipped the graduates with specialist knowledge, tactical skills, and operational resilience necessary for undertaking Special Forces missions in complex and dynamic environments. Throughout the course, the trainees underwent demanding physical, mental, and tactical exercises aimed at enhancing leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and mission effectiveness to support air and joint operations.
