Accra: The new producer price of cocoa for the remainder of the 2025/26 cocoa season will take effect from Friday, February 13, 2026. This follows an upward review of the producer price to GHS41,392.00 per tonne.
According to Ghana News Agency, the new price will apply to all cocoa purchased nationwide for the rest of the 2025/26 crop year. The revised pricing structure sets the producer price at GHS1,241.76 per load of 30 kilograms of Grade I and II cocoa beans, naked ex-scale, at all buying centers.
The statement further explained that the approved price per bag of 64 kilograms gross is GHS2,587.00. It noted that a tonne of cocoa, comprising 16 bags, now attracts a total payment of GHS41,392.00.
