Post: NGICE LOC Partners with Catholic Television of Nigeria to Boost Nigerian-German Expo


Abuja: The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Nigerian-German Investment and Cultural Expo (NGICE 2026) in Berlin has partnered with Catholic Television of Nigeria (CTV) to promote the expo activities to the global community. Amb. Chielo Ojirika, the Coordinator of NGICE 2026 and Nigerian Cultural Ambassador to Germany, made this announcement during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations in Abuja.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Ojirika stated that the Local Organising Committee of NGICE 2026, chaired by former Inspector-General of Police Sir Mike Okiro, has officially appointed CTV as the media partner for the event. The expo is intended to highlight the vast potential and cultural heritage of Nigeria, using Germany as a platform for showcasing these aspects to the world.

Ojirika emphasized the role of CTV in promoting global peace and advocacy, which aligns with the objectives of the program in Germany. He expressed satisfaction with the collaboration,
acknowledging CTV’s capacity to handle all media activities related to the event, ensuring its promotion to a worldwide audience.

Rev. Fr. Patrick Alumuku, Executive Managing Director of CTV, represented by Rev. Fr. Victor Ogunyemi, Deputy Managing Director Administration, affirmed CTV’s commitment to utilizing its extensive viewership to promote the expo globally. Alumuku highlighted the mutual benefits of the partnership, describing it as a win-win situation for both Salute Nigeria Initiative and CTV.

Sir Mike Okiro, speaking on behalf of the LOC, praised CTV’s efforts in promoting Nigerian unity on an international scale. He expressed confidence in CTV’s global outreach capabilities, which will significantly contribute to the success of the Nigerian-German Investment and Cultural Expo.
