Post: Obasanjo to Lead Dignitaries at UK Launch of Charly Boy’s Memoir ‘999’

London: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is set to lead a group of dignitaries to the launch of Charly Boy’s book ‘999’ in London, United Kingdom.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Charly Boy revealed in an interview that following a successful launch in Nigeria, the book is now set for an international tour, including stops in London, Germany, and Kenya. Obasanjo, who penned the book’s foreword, will serve as the chief host for the London event scheduled for September 29.

Charly Boy explained that the launch will attract admirers of the Charly Boy brand, Nigerians living abroad, and other dignitaries such as entrepreneur and philanthropist Dr. Obioma Akagburuonye. The event aims to be an evening filled with truth, reflection, and real stories.

Charly Boy, who has recently overcome prostate cancer, shared that the tour will also promote the Charly Boy Foundation’s campaign on men’s health, focusing on prostate issues, to Nigerian communities overseas.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that ‘999,’ a
book revealing the persona behind the Charly Boy brand, was officially unveiled on July 31 in Lagos. The event was attended by leaders, media personalities, and members of the diplomatic community, with Obasanjo as the chief host.
