Abuja: Three Rotary clubs in Abuja have made a significant contribution to maternal and neonatal healthcare services at Bethrapha Medical Centre, Wuye, by donating medical equipment valued at over N30 million. The donation, which includes 20 hospital crank beds, incubators, and two phototherapy lights, was facilitated by the Rotary Club of Abuja Guzape, Rotary Club of Abuja Asokoro Diamond, and Rotary Club of Abuja-Aso Golf.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the project received support from The Rotary Foundation through District Grant No. 2681591. She noted that investments in maternal and child health yield long-term benefits for families and society.

President of the Rotary Club of Abuja-Aso Golf, Rt. Lizzy Asomugha, expressed pride in executing a project that benefits patients for many years. She reiterated Rotary’s commitment to addressing community challenges through practical and sustainable solutions. We believe that every investment made toward improving healthcare services contributes directly to saving lives and building stronger communities,” he said.

Venerable George Agu, Head of Administration at Bethrapha Medical Centre, received the equipment on behalf of the hospital, expressing gratitude to the Rotary clubs and The Rotary Foundation.
