Jos: Mr Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, has affirmed that President Bola Tinubu has repositioned Nigeria, setting it on a trajectory of steady growth and development. He made this statement while presenting the mid-term achievements of Tinubu’s administration to the people of Plateau in Jos.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the minister was represented by Mr Bitrus Bonkat, Head of the Federal Information Centre in Plateau, during the event. The minister highlighted that the current administration has made significant strides in critical sectors of the economy over the past two years.
“We have gathered here, not just to commemorate the success of policies and programs of this government, but to renew our dedication to the progress of our beloved country,” Idris conveyed. He emphasized that each achievement is a step towards building a stronger nation and that the administration remains committed to prioritizing the welfare of its citizens.
Reflecting on the journey so far, Idris expressed optimism for the future, stating that the road ahead holds even greater promise. He noted that the government is laying a solid foundation that aims to create a lasting legacy for future generations. “This gathering is a testament to our collective resolve and commitment to turn vision into action; this is what the Tinubu administration is doing,” he added.
Idris explained that the administration has successfully repositioned key sectors such as health, education, agriculture, and power, while also ensuring food security. Additionally, the administration has focused on providing critical infrastructure, including roads, improved and affordable transportation systems, and youth empowerment initiatives.
