Tinubu True Champion of Black Race, Says Support Group

Accra: The Tinubu Media Support Group (TMSG) has praised President Bola Tinubu’s recent speech at the inauguration of Ghana’s new President, John Mahama, highlighting it as evidence of his commitment to Pan-Africanism and his role as a true champion of the black race.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Emeka Nwankpa, Chairman of TMSG, remarked that Tinubu’s speech serves as a testament to Africa’s potential for self-reinvention and growth. He emphasized that Tinubu’s address was unsurprising, given his history of promoting Africa’s resilience and Nigeria’s interests on global platforms.

Nwankpa cited Tinubu’s remarks on Ghana’s successful election as a demonstration of the nation’s and other African countries’ ability to engage in democratic and productive activities. This message, he noted, is particularly pertinent amidst the resurgence of military interventions in West Africa.

Highlighting Tinubu’s background as a pro-democracy advocate, Nwankpa underscored the significance of the speech in reaffirming the progress made in the development of democracy in Africa. He stated that Tinubu’s words serve as a strong rebuttal to critics of the continent’s democratic advances.

Additionally, Nwankpa praised Tinubu’s call for African nations to resolve differences through sincere dialogue rather than allowing external forces to exacerbate conflicts. He described this as a statesman-like approach, crucial at a time when global powers are competing for influence in Africa.
