Post: Wike Elevates Kwali Chieftaincy Stool to 1st Class

Kwali: The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has upgraded the chieftaincy stool of Kwali, in the Kwali Area Council of the FCT, from second class to first class. Wike announced the upgrade during a visit to Kwali to thank stakeholders in the area for supporting President Bola Tinubu’s candidates in the February 21 FCT area council elections.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the upgrade was in recognition of Etsu of Kwali, Luka Nizassan III’s support for Tinubu and the request by the council’s Chairman-elect, Mr. Nuhu Kwali. Wike expressed gratitude towards the traditional ruler for his support and announced plans for a befitting palace for the ruler. The Minister reassured the people of Kwali of President Tinubu’s continued support and emphasized the importance of fulfilling promises made to the community.

Etsu Nizassan described Wike’s thank-you visit to the area councils as unprecedented, noting that it was a first in the history of the FCT for a minister to return and acknowledge the contributions of the people. He expressed appreciation for Wike’s efforts in facilitating the electoral process and pledged continued support for the administration.

The Chairman-elect, Nuhu Kwali, attributed his electoral victory to the projects executed by Wike in the area. He thanked the community for their support and promised to execute people-oriented projects to strengthen their support base in Kwali.
