Abuja: The Accord Party has announced the commencement of a nationwide e-registration and revalidation initiative for its members. This move is part of the party’s preparation for the upcoming 2027 general election.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the party’s National Chairman, Maxwell Mgbudem, stated on Wednesday that the e-registration process began on Tuesday. The initiative aligns with the new Electoral Act, which mandates a digital membership register for accrediting members during congresses, primaries, and conventions.
Mgbudem encouraged both existing members and potential new members, including those residing abroad, to take advantage of the e-registration process to obtain their new membership cards. He also advised members who previously registered on the party’s platform to participate in the new registration exercise, noting that additional information is now required. Members can complete the registration at https://membership.accordnational.com.ng.
To ensure a smooth registration process, the party’s national leadership has provided guidelines. Mgbudem emphasized the importance of timely participation and urged ward, local government, state, and zonal executives to mobilize members to engage in a comprehensive membership drive aimed at securing victories in upcoming elections.
Mgbudem concluded by calling on Nigerians to unite under the Accord Party’s vision for a democratic nation.
