Jasikan: The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) is set to commission the Buem ultra centre on February 21, in Jasikan.
According to Ghana News Agency, the event would be attended by notable figures including Mr. Iddie Kofi Adams, the Member of Parliament (MP) of Buem constituency, who also serves as the Minister of Sport and Recreation, Mr. Julius Neequaye Kotey, DVLA Chief Executive, Mr. Foster Akwasi Asante Esq, Deputy Chief Executive of Services, and Mr. Idissah Yeboah Siedu, Deputy Chief Executive of Operations.
The Buem ultra centre aims to enhance vehicle licensing and driver services in the region, aligning with DVLA’s motto ‘Your Safety, Our Concern’. The center is expected to improve the accessibility and efficiency of DVLA services for residents in the Oti Region.
The commissioning signifies DVLA’s effort to expand infrastructure and services, promoting road safety and regulatory compliance in the Buem area. The ultra centre is likely to offer various services including driver licensing, vehicle registration, and road safety education.
