Post: FCC Chairman Congratulates Customs CG on Tenure Extension

Abuja: The Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hulayat Omidiran, has congratulated the Comptroller-General (CG) of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Bashir Adeniyi, on the extension of his tenure by President Bola Tinubu.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Omidiran described the decision as a recognition of Adeniyi’s leadership, dedication, and contributions to national development. This was outlined in a statement issued by the FCC Spokesperson, Ademola Lawrence, which was made available to newsmen in Abuja.

In the statement, Omidiran expressed that the extension reflects the confidence reposed in Adeniyi’s ability to continue driving reforms, enhancing institutional efficiency, and advancing the mandate of the Nigeria Customs Service. She emphasized that the extension is a testament to his leadership and the progress achieved under his stewardship.
