Post: Jisalo Honored with Leadership and Public Service Awards


Abuja: God’s Citizens Worldwide, an international non-governmental organisation, has bestowed two prestigious awards on Zephaniah Jisalo, the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, in recognition of his significant contributions to leadership and public service.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, the awards, titled ‘Outstanding Leadership’ and ‘Africa’s Most Excellent Administrator in Public Service and Inter-Governmental Affairs,’ were presented to Jisalo for his exceptional role in managing and coordinating special duties and inter-governmental affairs. Chief Wisdom Okoye, the President and Founder of the organisation, highlighted these achievements during an interview in Abuja.



Okoye pointed out that Jisalo’s efforts have significantly contributed to the implementation of the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He elaborated on the minister’s approach by saying, “We looked at the administration and coordination of special duties and inter-governmental affairs under the leadership of the minister, and we saw a model that deserved recognition.”



The organisation, which has a history of recognising individuals who have made remarkable societal contributions, has previously presented similar awards in various countries, including Kenya, Zambia, and the United States. Okoye emphasized the importance of acknowledging and encouraging positive contributions to national development and urged both Nigerians and the international community to recognize the efforts of Nigerian public servants.



In addition to recognizing public service achievements, Okoye expressed his support for President Bola Tinubu, stating his intention to promote Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. Okoye affirmed his belief in the President’s leadership and his capability to work with diverse groups across Nigeria.



The organisation’s activities are not limited to awards; they also encompass humanitarian outreaches and other projects in the countries where they operate. Okoye affirmed the commitment to promoting positive initiatives by the Nigerian government on an international scale.



In response to the recognition, Jisalo expressed gratitude and stated that the awards would serve as motivation to continue his dedication to public service. He also called on Nigerians to support the Tinubu administration, emphasizing the importance of citizen and stakeholder support for effective policy and programme implementation.
