Post: LG Congress: Members Agree on Consensus in Ikorodu Congress

Ikorodu: Stakeholders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Ikorodu division have agreed on consensus for the representatives at the Local Government Area (LGA) executives and National convention. They reached the agreement during the APC congress at the Party secretariat at Ota-Ona area on Saturday in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Gbenga Oshin, Chairman of the screening committee, urged members to ensure their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) are well kept for the elections that were fast approaching. He also encouraged them to be law-abiding and conduct themselves peacefully during the elections.

Earlier, Mr. Olanrewaju Kuye, Secretary of the screening committee, commended the electorate for having confidence in the existing executives and giving it a new mandate. He noted that the consensus was achieved with the electorate’s agreement, allowing those who have previously served to continue in their roles, as the community maintains confidence in their leadership.
