Post: NFP Urges Northern Appointees to Promote Tinubu’s Achievements at Grassroots

Abuja:The Nigeria Forward Project (NFP) has called on President Bola Tinubu’s appointees from the northern region to actively disseminate his administration’s achievements to Nigerians at the grassroots level.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the NFP, a socio-political initiative aimed at fostering national unity and citizen participation, emphasized the importance of this outreach following a directive from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume. The directive encourages ministers and federal appointees to effectively communicate the administration’s successes, especially as the country moves towards the 2027 presidential election.

Comrade Ibrahim Waiya, the Co-Convener of NFP, stated that northern appointees should utilize their positions to highlight the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda. They should communicate the administration’s policies and achievements in various sectors such as markets, farms, businesses, universities, and communities nationwide.

Waiya urged appointees to present concrete achievements and explain how government policies are creating opportunities, enhancing infrastructure, strengthening institutions, and repositioning the economy. He emphasized that the aspirations of citizens should be reflected in the campaign language, as Nigerians will judge the administration based on their experiences and understanding during the 2027 elections.

He also stressed the need for appointees to not only advocate for continuity but to clearly explain its significance and defend the administration’s record with evidence. Waiya concluded that the Renewed Hope Agenda should transform from a mere government slogan into a tangible narrative that Nigerians can observe and experience in their daily lives.
