Post: NRM Presidential Candidate Unfazed by Opposition in 2027 Election

Abuja:Dr. Esther Okereke, the Presidential Candidate of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), has declared her lack of intimidation by President Bola Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, or any other prominent candidates in the upcoming 2027 presidential election.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Okereke made this assertion during the Personality Interview Series held in Abuja, where she voiced confidence in her capabilities and her party’s vision for national reconstruction.

Okereke emphasized that political credibility relies on clear governance strategies rather than the size or longevity of a political party. She highlighted that the NRM’s emblem, the bee, symbolizes the party’s dedication to productivity, public service, and national development, contrasting it with larger parties that rely on their well-known candidates for recognition.

The decision to run under the NRM banner was influenced by a shared dedication to accountability, structural reform, and effective service delivery. Okereke noted that the NRM has developed a strong organizational presence across Nigeria’s 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory, 774 local government areas, and over 176,000 polling units to mobilize voters.

She pointed out the party’s comprehensive structure, extending through state constituencies, federal constituencies, and senatorial districts, affirming that the NRM is well-organized. Okereke stressed the importance of data and rapid communication to ensure that information reaches everyone swiftly, showcasing the party’s readiness for the electoral challenge.
