Post: PEBEC and FAAN Unveil Upgraded Service Feedback Kiosk at Lagos Airport

Lagos: The Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) have unveiled an upgraded ReportGov Kiosk at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Terminal 2, Ikeja, Lagos State. The Director-General of PEBEC, Princess Zahrah Mustapha-Audu, announced this development, highlighting its significance for travellers.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Audu, alongside FAAN’s Managing Director, Olubunmi Kuku, led the unveiling ceremony. Mustapha-Audu emphasized that the new kiosk enables travellers to easily report issues related to airport services, illegal demands, or other complaints. She noted that this initiative aims to improve efficiency and accountability at the airport. Furthermore, she reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to using feedback as a foundational governance tool, emphasizing the importance of citizen input in driving reforms and enhancing Nigeria’s business environment.

The FAAN managing director, Kuku, also spoke at the event, underlining the value of airports as critical service touchpoints. Kuku reiterated FAAN’s support for initiatives that foster transparency and improve service quality within the aviation sector.

ReportGov, the Federal Government’s official service-delivery feedback platform, is designed to capture real-time complaints, commendations, and feedback from citizens across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). The introduction of physical kiosks at high-traffic government locations expands access to the platform, allowing citizens and travellers to report service issues anytime.

These kiosks aim to enhance transparency, discourage unethical practices, and promote a more accountable public service culture. With structured tracking and resolution mechanisms, ReportGov facilitates inter-agency coordination, ensuring that public concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.

The ReportGov initiative remains Nigeria’s sole functional National Grievance Redress Mechanism, underscoring the government’s dedication to building trust, improving service delivery, and strengthening accountability across all levels of public administration. The unveiling event was attended by key stakeholders and agencies within the airport.
