Post: President Tinubu Arrives In Maiduguri To Commiserate With Flood Victims

Nigerian President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has arrived in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, to offer condolences to the residents in the aftermath of a devastating flood that resulted in loss of lives and extensive damage to properties.

The President arrived at the Air component of Operation Hadin Kai, Airforce Base Maiduguri, Borno State on Monday, at 03:18 pm

On arrival, the President was received by the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, the Air component commander, Air Commodore Usman Idris and some top-ranking officers of the Nigerian Army in the Northeast.

Also receiving the President were the Governors of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC, Mele Kyari, Senator representing Borno North, Mohammed Tahir Monguno, Minister of Agriculture and food security, Abubakar Kari, All Progressives Congress Party Chieftains and officials of the Bola Ti
nubu Administration.

While in Maiduguri, President Tinubu will visit the Palace of the Sheu of Borno, Abubakar Garba Ibn Umar Al Amin Elkanemi.
