Abuja: Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Balawi, and Chairman of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, have met to deepen cooperation across key sectors of the economy. The meeting took place at Al-Balawi’s residence in the Diplomatic Quarter in Abuja, reflecting the growing economic relations between Saudi Arabia and Nigeria.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the envoy emphasized that the engagement demonstrates a shared commitment from both countries to enhance collaboration in sectors such as energy, industry, and infrastructure. The discussions highlighted a variety of investment opportunities that could benefit both nations.
The meeting focused on the outcomes of Dangote’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia, exploring promising opportunities available to the Dangote Group in the Kingdom. Additionally, the discussions included potential opportunities for Saudi investors within Dangote’s companies.
To commemorate the occasion, the Saudi envoy hosted a dinner in Dangote’s honor and presented him with a commemorative gift. This gesture further underscored the strong and evolving partnership between the two nations.
