Post: Tailor Faces Court for Failing to Deliver Clothes After Six Months

Kaduna: A tailor, Malam Usman, faced legal proceedings at a Shari’a Court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna, over allegations of failing to complete sewing four pieces of clothing six months after the agreed-upon deadline.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the complainant, Suleiman Musa, stated that the tailor had assured him the clothes would be ready within two weeks and that he had already paid for the services. Musa expressed his disappointment, saying, “He lied and deceived me; I trusted him but he failed.”

In response to the allegations, Malam Usman denied Musa’s claims, labeling them as untrue. The presiding Judge, Malam Muhammad Kabir, decided to refer the matter to the police for further investigation. The court has adjourned the case to August 25 for further proceedings.
