Post: Tinubu Travels to Europe Before Attending Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit


Lagos: President Bola Tinubu on Sunday departed Lagos for Europe as part of his end-of-year break and ahead of his official visit to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. This marks a significant prelude to his participation in the 2026 edition of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2026) Summit.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, the presidential visit comes following an invitation from the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. ADSW 2026, which will take place early in January, is a global platform spanning a week, designed to gather leaders from government, business, and civil society to discuss sustainable development’s future.



The summit will operate under the theme, ‘The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go,’ with a focus on connecting ambition with actionable steps in areas such as innovation, finance, and human capital. The forum aims to highlight strategies for promoting sustainable growth and enhancing global collaboration in a world that is rapidly changing.
