Abakaliki: The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, has expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stating that significant achievements have been made within the first two years, with more expected in the coming years.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Idris made these remarks during a visit to the governor of Ebonyi, Mr. Francis Nwifuru, in Abakaliki. The Minister is touring as part of the Citizens Engagement and Tour of Federal Government’s projects in Enugu and Ebonyi states. Highlighting the administration’s accomplishments, Idris pointed to advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, agriculture, the economy, regional development, livestock, humanitarian efforts, and women’s affairs.
Idris emphasized that these achievements have been realized within the first half of Tinubu’s term. He expressed optimism about the continuation of these efforts, stating, “We still have another two years in the first instance of the mandate given to Mr. President.” Idris further suggested that if the current progress is maintained, President Tinubu could secure a second term to continue his work.
