Buenos aires: Venezuelan police have initiated a search operation for collaborators following the arrest of authoritarian leader Nicol¡s Maduro by U.S. special forces. This action comes in the wake of a decree declaring a state of emergency, which has been enacted to address the situation.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the decree, which took effect on Saturday and was fully disclosed on Monday, mandates all police units at the federal, state, and municipal levels to identify individuals who may have supported the U.S. operation. This directive is part of broader efforts to understand and manage the implications of Maduro’s arrest.
Earlier reports from several U.S. media outlets suggested that the U.S. military had likely received assistance on the ground during the operation. It is alleged that an individual within Maduro’s inner circle consistently provided information regarding his whereabouts, facilitating the successful capture.
