Ilorin: The National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ), Kwara Chapter, has appointed a three-man committee to conduct its upcoming election. A statement issued by the committee’s Chairman, Mr. Yinusa Giwa, outlined the structure of the committee in preparation for the electoral process.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Mr. Giwa stated that Hadjia Bilikis Oladimeji would serve as the secretary of the committee, while Mr. Jacob Ayanda would take on the role of Returning Officer. The election is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Press Centre in Ilorin.
Mr. Giwa encouraged all members of the League to engage actively in the election, highlighting the importance of their participation in ensuring a smooth and successful electoral process.
