Post: APC’s Henrietta Bulabari Triumphs in Khana II State Constituency Bye-Election

Rivers: The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Henrietta Bulabari, has emerged victorious in the Khana II State House of Assembly Constituency bye-election in Rivers, securing 7,647 votes. The announcement was made by the Returning Officer, Prof. Angela Briggs, who declared Bulabari the winner, stating that she had “satisfied the requirements of the law.”

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the results revealed the votes received by various parties were as follows: Action Alliance (AA) with 46 votes, APC with 7,647 votes, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) with 37 votes, Young Progressives Party (YPP) with 23 votes, and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) with 47 votes. Out of the 71,914 registered voters, only 7,834 were accredited and participated in the voting process.

The total number of valid votes cast was 7,800, with 34 votes rejected. Party agents were present to witness the declaration of the results. Bulabari expressed her happiness with the outcome, noting that the election process was conducted in a free, fair, smooth, and peaceful manner.
