Ologua: Former President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Peter Esele, donated 230 bags of rice to the Ologua Community in Ohordua, Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo. Speaking during the distribution event, Esele mentioned that the initiative was aimed at benefiting the elderly, vulnerable, poor, and less privileged individuals in the community and its neighboring areas.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the rice donation has been an ongoing tradition initiated by Esele ten years ago. The annual event has become a significant occasion for many families in the locality who eagerly anticipate the support. Esele emphasized that the donations represent his way of giving back to the community that played a crucial role in his upbringing.
