Post: Galaxy Backbone Commits to Enhanced Digital Services


Abuja:Galaxy Backbone (GBB) Ltd. has reaffirmed its commitment to improving service delivery, enhancing customer relationships, and expanding its digital infrastructure to support Nigeria’s digital transformation. This pledge was reiterated by the Managing Director, Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, during a breakfast meeting with customers and partners in Abuja.



Accourding to News Agency of Nigeria, the meeting, which was part of the 2026 Customer Service Week celebrations, carried the theme ‘Going the Extra Mile’. It offered a platform for the organization to engage with customers, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement in service delivery.



Prof. Adeyanju emphasized that customers are central to GBB’s operations, noting that their feedback and expectations have significantly influenced the company’s development over the past three years. He highlighted the importance of engineers and operations teams in ensuring reliable infrastructure and securing services, which are crucial for the government services provided to millions of Nigerians.



He also announced that GBB had recently secured a new data center facility in Lagos to bolster its capacity for data sovereignty, boost customer confidence, and enhance sustainability and resilience. This development is part of GBB’s broader initiative to build the necessary infrastructure and capabilities to support Nigeria’s digital future.



The Executive Director of Customer Centricity and Marketing, Mr. Olusegun Olulade, represented by Mr. Olugbenga Omoniyi, stressed the importance of customer-centric solutions that address real challenges. He mentioned that GBB is constantly developing digital solutions in connectivity, cloud services, and cybersecurity to meet evolving customer needs.



Olulade also acknowledged that while the organization’s services are not without flaws, it remains committed to continuous improvement. He urged employees to exhibit professionalism and accountability to deliver excellent customer experiences, reinforcing that customer-centricity is about making decisions that demonstrate the value placed on customers.



The meeting concluded with discussions on how GBB can further strengthen its service delivery, with an emphasis on timely communication and effective complaint management to improve customer experience.
