Abuja: Sen. Philip Gyunka, Nasarawa North Zonal Coordinator of the National Renewed Hope Ambassadors (NRHA) project, has urged Nigerians to support the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu. Gyunka, who represented Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the eighth Assembly, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Sunday.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress chieftain emphasized that Tinubu’s re-election would ensure policy continuity, economic stability, and national development. Gyunka, who also serves as Chairman of Gov. Abdullahi Sule Campaign Council for the 2027 Nasarawa North senatorial race, urged residents of the zone to back the governor’s ambition and Tinubu’s reelection bid.
He noted that the achievements and initiatives of the Tinubu and Sule administrations are indicators that the President and governor would bring more development to the district if elected. Gyunka expressed confidence in the level of support for the governor, stating that “victory is assured.”
Gyunka highlighted that, as part of efforts to mobilize support, the governor recently organized a two-day stakeholders’ engagement, where the campaign council was unveiled and inaugurated. At the event, campaign materials, including vehicles, were provided to enhance outreach across the district.
The former lawmaker assured that the council, under his leadership, would remain committed to ensuring that Sule emerged senator for Nasarawa North senatorial district in 2027.
